Refund & cancellation policy.
Last updated: June 2026. This page covers two things: the creator tools bundle (Rs 1,000, one-time) and 1:1 consult calls (Rs 1,000). By paying, you agree to the terms below.
One thing that's true everywhere on this page: the payment-gateway fee that Razorpay charges on a transaction (a small percentage) is never recoverable. Razorpay keeps it whether or not we refund you, so we can't give it back. Any "refund minus the fee" below means exactly that.
The creator tools bundle
48 hours, 90% back
If the toolkit isn't for you, email us within 48 hours of your purchase and we'll refund 90%. We keep 10%, a flat deduction whatever the reason: it covers the payment-gateway fee Razorpay charges (which we never get back) plus the cost of processing, and it keeps things fair, so the toolkit can't be bought, fully used, and then refunded for free.
After 48 hours
No refund. The window is short on purpose: the payment settles to our bank within a day or two, and the bundle is instant, lifetime access. 48 hours is your window to decide.
Refunds end your access
When we refund a bundle purchase, your personal access link is deactivated, it stops unlocking the paid tools.
If we charged you in error
A double charge, or a payment that went through but never gave you access, that's our mistake, not a refund request, so we make it whole in full with no deduction. Just email us, any time.
How to request a bundle refund
Email puro@thetomtribe.com within 48 hours, from the email you bought with, subject "Bundle refund, Malavika Chitoor, [your payment ID]". Refunds settle via Razorpay, usually within 5 to 7 working days.
1:1 consult calls
Reschedule (free, anytime)
Plans change. You can reschedule your slot any time before the call at zero cost, open the Google Calendar invite you received after payment and use the "Reschedule" option. We'll see your new time automatically.
Cancel >24 hours before the slot
Refund minus the non-refundable gateway fee. Email puro@thetomtribe.com from the email you booked with, subject "Consult refund, Malavika Chitoor, [your payment ID]". Refunds settle via Razorpay, usually within 5 to 7 working days.
Cancel within 24 hours of the slot
No refund, Malavika has already blocked the time. But you can reschedule for free to any slot within the next 30 days, no questions asked.
No-show
If you don't join within the first 10 minutes and haven't messaged in advance, the slot is forfeit and there's no refund. To rebook after a no-show, you'd pay again.
If Malavika cancels, or tech fails on our end
If Malavika has to cancel, or we lose more than 10 minutes of the call to problems on our side, you get a full refund (we absorb the gateway fee) or a free reschedule, your call. We'll always reach out by email at the address you booked with.
